1.  How is  your furniture made?

  We build our wood furniture using old fashioned, hand crafting in one of our shops in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia.          

Our region is known for its majestic oaks which is the main wood we use in constructing furniture.  Oak is carefully selected, kiln dried, and chosen  for its color and grains for each piece of furniture.  Our craftsmen include the children of Dutch and German settlers who have passed their craft from generation to generation. 

2. Why are your prices so low?

A better question might be, why are the others so high?  It does not    cost any more for them or us to build the furniture.  We simply choose to eliminate the middle men (commissioned salesmen) and sell direct to you.

3. How is delivery provided?

There are a couple of ways that we get furniture to you. Our preference

is to bring it to you on our trucks (we deliver to most areas east of the Mississippi river) but if that is not possible, we also provide delivery by  LTL (less than truckload) carriers such as FedEx Freight or UPS Freight.  In those cases, we carefully package the furniture for shipment to you, and set up for the driver to call you to set a time for delivery.  When the truck arrives, you will need to have help on hand (the driver cannot unload by himself) and you will also need to inspect the items (unpack them) while the driver is present to inspect for hidden damages.  While rare, it is very important to note any damage on the delivery ticket while the driver   is present in order for us to provide replacements.

4.  Can we pick up our furniture at your warehouse?

We would be happy to have you pick up, and will offer you a discount if you qualify for free shipping!  You should call and let us know, and note our hours of operation (Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00).  You will need to bring rope, blankets to wrap the furniture, tie downs, etc. 

5. I found a wrong price on your website, will you honor it?

Well, let's just say, if we can. Websites are programmed by humans,     who make mistakes.  If it is something that says the price is $10.00 instead of $1000, we can't honor that.  But if it says $1000 instead of $1100, we will usually let it go.  To err is human, to forgive, divine.
